High Overload DC Operated Torque Transducers - 10X, Flanged

Model #59000V Series

MCRT® 59000V Series DC Operated Torquemeters have the highest safety margins in the industry. They are available in capacities from 40 lbf-in to 735,000 lbf-in with overload ratings of 10X full scale. Integral signal conditioning provides dual ±5 volt dc outputs proportional to torque. They will operate from a single power supply in the range of 10.5 to 24 volts dc (such as 12 volt batteries)

These models are ideal for applications when the peak to average torque ratio is high. Examples include starting, stopping and reversing inertia loads, diesel and single cylinder engines or compressors, or if high shaft torsional vibrations are present.

Available in either shaft or flanged style configurations, they feature the very high torsional stiffness.

Himmelstein's unique Option G technology for noise hardening the torquemeter from EMI generated by IGBT based adjustable speed drives is standard with these models.
