These torque sensors have digital outputs (RS232, RS422 and/or RS485, depending upon model).  Simultaneous analog outputs are user settable as either ±5 or ±10 volts dc. Serial comunications cable and PC interface software are provided for instrument setup and data collection/display.

Models are available with mV/V strain gage output, 4-20 mA current output and ±5 or ±10 volt dc analog output.  mV/V output units require an ac carrier style strain gage signal conditioning amplifier as all Himmelstein rotating transducers utilize rotary transformers for non-contact signal transfer.

Spline drive models have spline and flange configurations consistent with AND 10262 and AND 20002.  Also available are pulley sensors and torque wheels for road load driving torques and/or coastdown testing.  Horsepower/kW-h meters have optional energy calculation/output.

Non-rotating, reaction style torque sensors are available in hollow flanged, C-Face hollow flanged, solid flanged and square drive configurations.  Outputs are mV/V, or ±10 volts dc analog and RS232 digital, model dependent.
